Good Mooning

I couldn't resist the opportunity to head out early this morning and take a look at our full moon.
I was surprised at how many people were about so early, making the most of this picturesque start to the day.

The above image was captured on the path to the beach opposite the post office.

Sun Glare

Isn't it great to have some sun glare on these cold and wet winter days.
After warm bursts of sunshine combined with delightful garden drenching rain I can almost see the grass (and weeds) growing!

Cloud Watching

It appears that we are a town populated by cloud watchers, people who stop to look up and enjoy the fascinating formations and patterns that clouds can produce.

The above caught my eye whilst walking this week - thank goodness for phone cameras!

This could be a blog all of its own!

Thanks to all those who stopped to cheer on our little vessels this afternoon.

Their tall sculptural heads can be seen poking over fences and emerging from tired and damp winter gardens, here to provide colour and warmth, and to make us smile.

Fogtographic Morning

An oh so chilly start to the day and a fog that doesn't seem to want to shift. I enjoy the soft tones that are captured on mornings like these and hope that there are many more to come.
